Welcome to Luke's site! It's the one-stop place for info and for contacting the lyricist, musician and composer that Big City Rhythm and Blues Magazine calls an “intelligent musician” and an “invested storyteller," and who Mulebone has called "hard to forget." Here there will be news on Music that Luke is working on, concerts he'll be playing, and work that he is recording. Also, if you are interested in having him play for your festival, business, private event, or for jams, please use the contact tab to send Luke a heads up, and he can let you know about rates. Thanks for stopping by, and if you get a chance please check out Luke's music, and the music that he has recorded! If you would like to see videos of him performing, you can check out his Facebook page www.facebook.com.lukewoltanskimusic. If you are tech savvy and have Spotify, please give him a follow as well. It's that little teeny green box underneath all of the albums!

Silent Night, Featuring Lea Layne and Jon Gewirtz, is now Available for Streaming!
Silent Night is the collaborative single between Luke, French vocalist and pianist Lea Layne, and saxophone player Jon Gewirtz. Luke wrote the arrangement for the tune, and Lea and Jon each recorded their parts remotely - although the final product sounds far from remote. This is a slow jazz swing rendition of the classic Christmas carol, with Luke and Lea sharing parts throughout the verses, and Jon filling in the spaces between verses. The song ends with a verse in french, done as a vocal duet between Luke and Lea (and, yes, we know there's a rich Star Wars reference there). New Album, The Dangerous Music Man, is Now Available!
Luke's fourth studio album, The Dangerous Music Man, is now available at all places where music is found! This is a little different of a project than what most are used to hearing from Luke. It is a full band record, featuring large horn sections and a full 6-piece band throughout. It's also a jam record (if you're into that), that allows all of the musicians involved to flex their musical muscles! It features the talents of Carson Waites, Dean Sinclair, Dalton Sala, Kylar Kuzio, Caleb Longacre, Michael Whitman, Dan Palmer and Johnny Cole Murdock. Luke had a great time making this collection, and he hope's you enjoy listening to it as much as he did!

On July 17, Luke Woltanski, Carson Waites, Dalton Sala, Dean Sinclair, Jake Rummel, and Tyler Sechrist decided to play a live show together before they all officially graduated. Thrown together at the last minute, the show itself was a showcase of the work they had done on The Dangerous Music Man, and on a yet unreleased record. Clips from that show were stitched together, and the video can be found on Facebook. Just click on the button below, and you'll be taken right to the video!
